The Trust is an association of concerned residents that aims to –
- preserve the qualities of the area – its natural environment of bush, parks, trees and streetscapes, its residential character of family homes and gardens, and its heritage features
- improve the amenity of the area – infrastructure, accessibility, facilities and services to meet the needs of the local community
- provide a community voice to achieve these aims
The Trust is constituted under the provisions of the Associations Incorporation Act 1984 and related Regulations 1994, in the name of Pennant Hills District Civic Trust Inc. The Trust is governed by a set of rules established as part of the incorporation process. You can read our Constitution here.
The area referred to in the Mission Statement is defined by the “suburb boundary” in Gregory’s Street Directory with the addition of that part of West Pennant Hills to the north of Castle Hill Road and west of Pennant Hills Road. See this map for our area.
The Trust supports local historians exploring and documenting the local history of Pennant Hills and its residents. Several publications have been produced over the past few years.
