In Ku-ring-gai local issues were important enough for the question of Councillor representation to be one of the concerns that led to the decision to oppose any council amalgamation. Hornsby Council contracted research by Crosby Textor, which concluded that ‘local issues are low on the order of local residents’ issues’, and ipso facto the quality of Councillor representation was not an issue today or with a much larger Council.
Were you consulted by Crosby Textor? Do you believe your local issues are sufficiently represented by your elected Councillors? Can you name them? Let us know via ‘Contact Us’ on the website –www.pennanthillscivictrust.com.
